When Will Sassa R350 Grants Be Paid?
There is no fixed pay date each month for the SASSA R350 grant. The Social Relief of Distress SRD Grant was originally brought in during the Covid lockdown to help people with no income.
The Sassa SRD Grant has been so successful that it has outlived the Covid-19 pandemic. It was first extended for two years and now the President and the Finance Minister have confirmed that it is her to stay.
The first improvement is that the grant amount will be increased to R370 from the 1st April 2024.
SASSA has also said that if you are not receiving your social grant payment due to changes to your banking details or contact details, you should then visit https://srd.sassa.gov.za to update your details.
